Export Finance Australia hosts the 13th Berne Union Regional Cooperation Group CEO Meeting

Export Finance Australia (EFA) brought together senior leaders from export credit agencies across Asia for the 13th Berne Union Regional Cooperation Group CEO Level Meeting in Sydney from 10 to 12 March. 

The event welcomed representatives from the Berne Union Secretariat, Export Credit Guarantee Corporation of India, Hong Kong Export Credit Insurance Corporation, Nippon Export and Investment Insurance, New Zealand Export Credit, China Export and Credit Insurance Corporation, Korean Trade Insurance Corporation, Taipei Export-Import Bank of China and the Export-Import Bank of Thailand.

As the leading global association for the export credit and investment insurance industry, the Berne Union drives collaboration and innovation in trade and investment finance. This year’s meeting focused on strengthening partnerships, aligning strategic priorities and identifying new opportunities to support global trade. 

Managing Director & CEO of EFA, Mr John Hopkins, said the event was an important opportunity to work with regional partners. 

“The Berne Union Regional Cooperation Group CEO meeting has become a key forum for collaboration,” Mr Hopkins said.

“It’s a chance to share insights, address common challenges and advance export credit solutions that support economic growth.”
